2022-2023 Annual Compliance Awards

With the success of last year’s launch of the CCO of the Year Award, we have added a Rising Star Award to highlight upcoming, dedicated, young professionals in the investment industry.

Are you a Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) or do you know a CCO that has gone above and beyond? The CCO position is a significant position and is crucial to the success of a business. Whether it be building new compliance programs, mitigating risk, or working through complex issues, we see CCOs strive for excellence.

In partnership, Core Compliance & Legal Services, Inc. (Core Compliance) and Starkweather & Shepley have created their annual Compliance Awards, which highlight and recognize distinguished individuals in the compliance industry.

The CCO of the Year Award is designed to recognize the significant role the Chief Compliance Officers and Compliance Programs play in the success of a business enterprise and recognize the accomplishments of leading firms within the industry. (Eligibility:  Must currently hold the title of CCO at their firm and have a minimum of 10 years of experience in compliance)

Our Rising Star Award highlights those that are new to the world of compliance but show true potential and passion for bridging growth and success with compliance within their career. (Eligibility: Must currently hold a role within a firm that extends its responsibilities to regulatory compliance regulations. Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in compliance)

All nominees are subject to our compliance panel review that includes a multi-phase approach that highlights the career and contributions of all compliance professionals, including preliminary discovery, firm assessment of compliance, industry contribution (articles, speaking engagements, published work, etc.), interview response, industry references, letters of recommendation, and more.
