We are happy to announce that CEO Michelle L. Jacko will be speaking at the 2023 National Society of Compliance Professionals (NSCP) Annual National Conference, from October 16-18, 2023.
Michelle will be presenting on “Exam Management Strategies,” on Tuesday, October 17th.
Participants will:
- Learn the compliance officer’s role in managing regulatory and firm expectations, requests, and findings, including production of materials and information, and staff interviews.
- Understand the pros and cons of bringing in outside counsel or consultants and the optimal time to introduce them into the examination process.
- Discuss strategies to handle escalating tensions during an exam to mitigate or minimize risk of potential enforcement.
- Develop strategies for responding to exam findings, including when to push back, remediate, and when to seek outside assistance.
